Irish Traditional Witchcraft group
The ITW group was started by Tealte in 2000 in collaboration with Eblanna Raven (Imrammic expert, author and teacher) in order to rbing an ancient tradition, under pressure from modern inventions like Wicca and in danger of being subsumed into the morass of commericalism of the art of witchcraft, to a new audience. The mission was to seek out serious practitioners of witchcraft of Irish and other indigenous traditions and provide a space for dicussion and interaction.
ITW started as a yahoo group and quickly grew to a core membership who exchanged opinions, techniques, ideas and learning. Thanks to our dedicated mods, and the generosity of Brian in particular we have a new permanent home with space for forums and articles etc
We would like to welcome any non wiccan practitioner who wishes to discuss witchcraft, including those who are beginners but interested in real traditions; and those wiccans who are interested in talking about non religious witchcraft in a respectful way.
